Following the first implementation of EVONOTE, we confirmed two key aspects:

Optimal latency with EPD – I have learned how to work with E Ink displays to achieve minimal writing latency, ensuring a natural handwriting experience.

Low hardware requirements – The application’s resource usage shows that even tablets with lower-spec hardware are suitable. This translates into a lower device cost and increased market accessibility.

 

The current documentation of the Evonote system is available as my original Computer Science graduation thesis — written in Romanian and presented in 2025 at the University of Bucharest (graded 10/10).

For now, the thesis is available as-is in PDF format.

I plan to gradually translate and adapt its contents into English and publish the most relevant parts here in the Tech Corner.
