We are starting a small pilot program to test Evonote, a minimalist digital notebook designed specifically for real classroom use.
If you are a motivated student (grades 9–11) and want to be part of the pilot, you can apply using the form on the bottom of the page.
Parental approval is absolutely required for participation.
Evonote is the first digital notebook for school: real handwriting on a paper-like E-Ink screen. No apps, no notifications, no mess – just school. The device runs on ultra-low power and is genuinely eye-friendly, so it can be used for hours of writing without strain.
Feel free to explore the website for more details — everything is explained step by step.
The pilot is simple and flexible. Here is the full structure:
1. Start small
You begin with just a few subjects.
2. Extend gradually
As you get used to Evonote, you can add more subjects at your own pace.
3. Target usage
After the adaptation period, the expected level is using the tablet in at least 75% of your classes.
We call this “full usage”.
4. Everyday use
You use the tablet during real classes, in the same way you normally use notebooks.
No simulated tests, no artificial tasks.
5. Light feedback
You only need to notify me when something feels unclear or something doesn’t work as expected.
No reports, no long forms, no pressure.
6. Full support
I will provide direct technical assistance whenever needed.
1. The tablet remains with the student
As long as you use it actively, the device is yours. There are no fees and no deposits.
2. A real, functional tool
Evonote is not a concept — it is a working product with a full cloud ecosystem.
3. Early access
You will be among the very first students in Romania to use a digital notebook designed specifically for schools.
Your feedback will influence the next versions of the project.
Please include the following information in the form below:
– whether you are the student or the parent
– if you are the student: please add the parent’s name and phone number
– if you are the parent: please add the student’s name, grade and school
– a short sentence about why you want to participate
I will select 2 students after a brief discussion with the parents.
